Thank you, Eve

I was reminded by LinkedIn recently of the the 41st Anniversary of me leaving employment and going freelance. I would probably never have done it if not for the wise counsel of a very dear friend, Eve Harvey, all those years ago. When I mentioned to her that my place of employment were looking for voluntary redundancies her reply was "Oooh... what a good time to go freelance!" That was on the Monday... on the Friday I was out with my redundancy package and thinking "Oh sh*t! Now what do I do...?"

It's been a long, strange journey, but Eve was the catalyst in getting it started and I was devastated to learn recently of her passing. I have many, many happy memories of time spent with Eve and husband  John for which I'll always be grateful.

Thank you, Eve. It's all your fault.
